Is a feeling that should never be had

“I am weak” I say aloud

No one to hear in a one woman croud

I sit there and smile, yet tears rise

For a pain that now I can’t even disguise

“You would be so proud if you were here,”

“To see how far I’ve fallen, how filled with fear,”

I speak to one that cannot listen

To the truth told, to the words risen

Day by day, I live this way

Pushing my problems further away

This weekend just isn’t going good at all for me or my girl. Can we catch a break?!
